About Naples Common Sense

An unexpected thing happened to my family when we made a brief visit to Naples, FL in the spring of 2003, we fell in love with this wonderful paradise. A year later we bought our first house and we have never looked back. I still run my business in New York City and my wife is a happy store owner here in Naples. As I worked to help businesses make use of alternative marketing and distribution models I realized that there wasn’t a single coherent source of all things Naples and southwest Florida.

Sure there are resources but none of them cut through the minutia to get to the real details of what makes this area of the world so great. In a way of giving back to the community that I love I decided to create Naples Common Sense. The purpose of this blog is to offer great information to the citizens of Naples as well as the ten of thousands of visitors who vacation here each year. These post will offer facts, insights and opinions of the many facets of this beautiful city. We encourage you to read, share, and comment on all of the posts, but most of all enjoy!
